I am the 8th grade silver team math and language arts teacher!

I look forward to sharing my passion for math and reading with my students.

• I earned my Bachelor's degree from NIU and my Master's degree from Olivet Nazarene University!
• I have 3 children and 5 amazing grandchildren!
• In my free time I love to cook, read and spend time with my family.

Hello! I am the 8 Silver/7 Silver Learning Resource Teacher and Instructional Language Arts Teacher. This is my 12th year teaching and my 11th school year at MMS. I have a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Northern Illinois University in 2012. I also have a Master's degree in Reading that I earned in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology that I earned in 2019. 

MMS is my second home! I have coached several sports here, and I am currently one of the 8th grade head volleyball coaches. My favorite things to do outside of school are reading, going to the movies, riding my bike, swimming, and spending time with my husband and 4-year-old son. I love all dogs, especially my dog, Hercules!

Hello!  My name is Miss Green.
