Hello! I am excited to be the 8th Red team science teacher this year. This is my 11th year teaching, but my first here at MMS. I took some time off to be with my twins and am looking forward to getting back to learning about science with you!  I was born and raised in Crystal Lake. I enjoy spending time with my husband, three kids, and our two dogs. We like to spend time outdoors and enjoy camping. Our favorite trip so far was the Tetons! 

Welcome to 8th grade! My name is Mrs. Hoglund and I am the Red team math teacher. This is my 24th year teaching math on the team. I am a native of McHenry attending both Parkland and West Campus. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education at the University of Illinois and my Master's Degree at Saint Xavier University in Teaching and Leadership. I am married with two teenage daughters and three big dogs. I also coach competitive dance teams at a dance studio.

Welcome to the 8 red team and I teach social studies. I was born and raised in McHenry.  Even though I went to Parkland as a student, my loyalty is now to MMS.  I am married with one child.  My wife, Keri, is an elementary school teacher.  I have a son named Aaron who will turn 7 in September.  Besides social studies, my interests are spending time with my family, sports, and reading.

Welcome! My name is Mr. Rejholec. I am the language arts teacher for the 8th Grade Red Team.   I have been teaching for 22 years. I earned my B.A. degree from Eastern Illinois University. I also have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. From Aurora University I earned a certification in Administration as well. 

I enjoy sports--especially THE BEARS! I also enjoy playing chess and traveling. I have 3 children: two boys and a girl. 

Hello! My name is Miss Green. I am the special education resource teacher for the 8 Red Team and the 8th grade special education instructional math teacher. This is my 12th year teaching at MMS. I am also the building technology specialist if you have any technology questions. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and our horses. Hello! I am the 8 Silver/ 7 Silver Resource teacher and the 8th Grade Instructional Language Arts teacher. This is my 12th year teaching and my 11th school year at MMS. I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Special Education from Northern Illinois University in 2012, a Master's degree in Reading from Concordia University Chicago in 2017, and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from Concordia University in 2019.  I am licensed in K-12 Special Education and as a K-12 Reading Specialist. I am one of the head coaches for 8th grade Volleyball team. My favorite things to do outside of school are reading, riding my bike, and spending time with my family. My greatest goal for the students that I work with is by the time they graduate MMS, that they become advocates for their educational needs to be successful in high school and beyond.
